Job summary

Routes Healthcare is seeking dedicated complex care workers to support clients in their own homes in Walkden. You will work 1-2-1 with individuals who have long-term health needs, including tracheostomy care, ventilation support, and PEG feeding, following detailed clinical care plans.

The role offers guaranteed hours after probation, day and night shifts, and ongoing training through the Routes Academy. You will join a committed team, receive 24/7 clinical on-call support, and work with

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK without employer support.
• At least 6 months paid care experience in the UK (ideally complex care).
• Reliable, compassionate, and committed to delivering excellent clinical care.
• Willingness to complete specialist training in complex care skills.
• Experience with tracheostomy care, ventilation, PEG feeding, or similar clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-2-1 care in the client's own home.
• Follow detailed care plans created by our clinical team.
• Maintain accurate care records and clinical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families and the wider care team.
• Support clients with complex care needs including PEG feeding.
