Job summary

Complete Care Amegreen is seeking a compassionate care professional to join a brand new team supporting a gentleman with quadriplegia. You will contribute to a range of clinical interventions with full training provided.

The role covers ventilation support, catheter care, bowel management, medication administration and safe moving & handling. Flexibility and reliability are valued, with opportunities for progression within CCH.

Qualifications

• Experience in ventilation support and catheter care preferred.
• Knowledge of bowel management and manual evacuations advantageous.
• Experience with medication administration beneficial.
• Ability to use moving and handling equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ventilation support and monitoring as required.
• Provide catheter care and manage suprapubic care as needed.
• Support bowel management, including manual evacuation where appropriate.
• Administer medications in accordance with care plan.
• Use manual handling equipment safely to transfer and position the client.
• Deliver personal care with compassion and respect.

Our client is a gentleman who has quadriplegia due to a spinal injury and they are also to susceptible to episodes of autonomic dysreflexia and sleep apnoea.

We are looking for someone to be apart of a brand new team, who shows compassion, dedication and reliability into helping towards transform the client's life to the best way possible.

You will be involved in a multitude of clinical interventions where full training will be given and this can include:

• Ventilation Support
• Catheter Care
• Bowel Management
• Medication Administration
• Using Manual Handling Equipment
• Providing Personal Care.

Experience required in the following clinical tasks would make your application extremely advantageous prior to an interview commencing:

• Ventilation Support
• Catheter Care (Suprapubic)
• Bowel Management (Inclusive of Manual Evac.)
• Medication Administration
• Moving & Handling Equipment
