Job summary

Eden Futures is recruiting Specialist Support Workers in the UK to help adults with learning disabilities live as independently as possible, in supported living settings and the community.

You will work as part of a caring team, with a pay of £13.75 per hour (£30,030 a year for a 42-hour week). Applicants must have 6–12 months care experience; full training will be provided. This role emphasizes safeguarding, compassionate support, and person-centered planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–12 months of experience in care.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and use your initiative.
• Caring and compassionate with a genuine passion to help service users.

Responsibilities

• Support service users to lead a full and active life in line with their wishes and plans.
• Support individuals to stay safe and safeguard their welfare.
• Provide emotional support with a person-centred approach.
• Assist with social activities, finances, medications, household tasks and personal care.
• Be an informal point of contact for families and social workers.
• Accurately report and record issues related to care and wellbeing.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations.
