Job summary

Community Case Management Limited is seeking a Female Support Worker to assist a 20-year-old young adult with a learning disability and cerebral palsy in Shropshire. You will provide care in her home and community, support PEG feeding, and help her access therapy and social activities.

The role requires warmth, organisation and good IT skills (email and electronic records); a full driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent desirable.
• Willingness to undertake Care Certificate training.
• Experience with Makaton and PEG feeding desirable.
• Full driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide all care in the client’s home and community.
• Support therapy and social opportunities for the client.
• Ensure safety and physical wellbeing.
• Work as part of a team to support the client.
• Attend to shifts as per rota (28 hours/week) and cover holidays.
