Job summary

Thera Trust seeks enthusiastic support workers to join our inclusive team supporting adults with a learning disability. You will help create innovative ways to support individuals’ goals, with care that adapts to each person and their environment.

You may work in clients' homes or out in the community, providing personal and emotional support and developing new skills while promoting independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with learning disabilities or in a similar care setting.
• Valid UK manual driving licence is essential.
• Compassionate, person-centred approach to care.
• Ability to work across long shifts, evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.
• Commitment to promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with learning disabilities to achieve personal goals.
• Help with daily living, personal and emotional support.
• Plan and manage home life, leisure, employment and travel.
• Provide flexible, person-centred care tailored to each individual.
