First For Education is seeking a compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND setting in Harborne, Birmingham, supporting children and young people with a range of complex needs. This is a full-time, long-term role in a highly supportive environment where patience and consistency are essential.

The role involves practical, learning and physical support across the school day. Experience with movement or physical needs is highly beneficial, and the right person will be hands-on,

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a calm, patient approach.
• Ability to work 1:1 and in small groups within a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, learning and physical support to pupils throughout the day.
• Support pupils with movement, mobility or physical needs as required.
• Build trusting relationships and support individual communication needs.
