TeacherActive is looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant (SEND TA) for a temporary role in Bromley from September 2026. The successful candidate will support pupils with complex needs including Autism, sensory needs, and personal development.

The position offers a supportive environment where the SEND TA will collaborate with the class teacher and support team, creating a nurturing atmosphere for students. Candidates with a caring approach and relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months’ experience working with children with SEND.
• Experience working with Autism / ASD, PMLD, or sensory needs.
• DBS on the Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with learning, communication, personal development, and sensory regulation.
• Work closely with the class teacher and support team to implement individual learning plans.
• Create a safe and engaging learning environment.
