Job summary

First For Education is seeking a compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist education setting in Kidderminster, supporting pupils with SEND to engage with education and reach their potential. This is a full-time, long-term role.

The setting emphasizes relationships, confidence, and positive progress, with SEND training available and dedicated consultant support throughout your placement. An enhanced DBS and relevant qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, SEMH or additional learning needs.
• Ability to support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis.
• Assist with behaviour and emotional regulation.
