Hutchinson Care Homes is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our care home team in Northern Ireland. You will prepare meals, assist with serving, and contribute to a clean, safe dining environment for residents.

The role requires knowledge of food hygiene, time management, adaptability, and a willingness to participate in ongoing training and safety procedures. Onsite duties include setting tables, assisting cooks, and maintaining kitchen and dining areas to high standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Food Hygiene Safety.
• Time Management Skills.
• Adaptability and Flexibility.
• Previous experience working in a similar setting.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the serving of meals and preparation of vegetables.
• Set tables for meals and set up tea trolley/trays.
• Wash up after meals and ensure crockery and equipment are cleaned and stored.
• Maintain hygiene and health and safety standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Participate in staff meetings and complete daily menu choices.
• Report any illness or accident to the Home Manager.
