Job summary

ICare Group is seeking a Female Home Care Worker to support clients in Blackpool (FY4) with driving duties. The role offers flexible hours, weekly pay and a warm, supportive team. You’ll visit clients in their homes, provide dignity and independence, assist with daily tasks and wellbeing while adhering to care plans.

The position requires a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, with weekend availability essential. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Have access to your own vehicle
• Be able to travel throughout the FY4 area and surrounding communities
• Be willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already in place
• Be available to work weekends as part of a rolling rota
• Role is open to female applicants only under the Equality Act 2010

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion
• Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition
• Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans
• Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks
• Promoting independence, choice and person-centred care
• Working as part of a supportive care team
• Travelling between clients' homes across the Blackpool FY4 community
