Job summary

ICare Group in Darwen is seeking a Home Care Worker (Driver Required) to support clients in their own homes across Darwen and surrounding areas.

You will earn £13.45–£13.70 per hour with weekly pay, £125 welcome bonus, paid mileage between care calls and flexible hours (7am–10pm, Monday to Sunday).

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
• Be able to travel throughout the Darwen area (BB3).
• Willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not in place.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion.
• Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines.
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans.
• Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks.
• Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment.
• Offering companionship and emotional support.
• Building positive and professional relationships with the people you support.
• Promoting independence, choice and person-centred care.
