Job summary

ICare Group is recruiting a Home Care Worker to support people in Accrington and surrounding areas. A driver is required to travel between clients' homes, providing compassionate, person-centred care in the comfort of their own homes.

We offer £13.45–£13.70 per hour, a £125 welcome bonus, mileage paid between calls, and weekly pay. Flexible hours (7am–10pm, Monday–Sunday) and full induction with ongoing support are available to help you make a real difference in the community.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Have access to your own vehicle
• Be able to travel throughout the Accrington (BB5) area
• Be willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already in place

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion
• Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition
• Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans
• Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks
• Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Building positive and professional relationships with the people you support
• Promoting independence, choice and person-centred care
• Working as part of a supportive and dedicated care team
• Travelling between clients' homes across the Accrington community
