Job summary

ICare Group is recruiting Home Care Assistants to support clients in Halewood and Knowsley. A driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required to travel between clients, with flexible hours across 7am-10pm, Monday to Sunday.

You will provide compassionate, person-centred care in clients’ homes, help with daily tasks, meal prep and medication prompts, and contribute to wellbeing and safety checks. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

Hold a full UK driving licence
Have access to your own vehicle
Be able to travel throughout the Halewood and Knowsley area
Be willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already in place

Responsibilities

Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion
Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines
Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition
Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans
Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks
Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment
Offering companionship and emotional support
Building positive relationships with the people you support
Promoting independence and person-centred care
Travelling between clients' homes across the local community
