Job summary

ICare Group is seeking a Home Care Assistant (Driver Required) in Sefton to support clients in their own homes, helping maintain independence and dignity. You will travel across the Sefton area, with flexible hours from 7am to 10pm, Monday to Sunday, and provide compassionate personal care and companionship.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Have access to your own vehicle
• Be able to travel throughout the Sefton area
• Be willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already in place.
• Previous care experience is welcome but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion
• Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition
• Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans
• Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks
• Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Building positive and professional relationships with the people you support
• Promoting independence, choice and person-centred care
• Travelling between clients' homes across the local community
