Job summary

ICare Group is recruiting Home Care Assistants to provide compassionate, person-centred care to clients in Runcorn (WA7). You will support daily living activities, assist with personal care, meal prep and medication reminders, while travelling between clients’ homes in the local community.

We offer training, ongoing support and a welcoming team. A full UK driving licence is required, and the role offers flexible hours with an hourly rate described as competitive.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Previous care experience is welcome but not essential.
• Reliable and compassionate with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care with dignity, respect and compassion.
• Support with washing, dressing and daily routines.
• Assist with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Provide medication prompts and support per care plans.
• Carry out wellbeing and safety checks.
• Support light household tasks and maintain a clean home.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Build positive relationships with the people you support.
• Promote independence and person-centred care.
• Work as part of a caring team.
• Travel between clients' homes in the local community.
