Job summary

ICare Group in Blackburn is seeking a Home Care Worker (Driver Required) to support local residents across BB1 and BB2. You will provide personal care with dignity, assist with daily routines and offer companionship.

Travel between clients is expected; mileage is paid and a £125 welcome bonus is offered. Flexible hours (7am-10pm, Mon-Sun) and training support are provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Have access to own vehicle.
• Be able to travel throughout Blackburn BB1/BB2 area.
• Be willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already in place.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion.
• Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines.
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans.
• Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks.
• Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment.
• Offering companionship and emotional support.
• Building positive and professional relationships with the people you support.
• Promoting independence, choice and person-centred care.
• Working as part of a supportive and dedicated care team.
• Travelling between clients' homes across the Blackburn community.
