Job summary

Active Care Group in Stockton on the Forest, York, is growing its team of compassionate female Support Workers to provide personalised home care for a client with a spinal cord injury. You’ll deliver daily living support, meals, and mobility assistance, building trust and respecting the client’s choices, dignity and wellbeing as priorities.

Shifts are 12 hours (day or night) on a rolling rota. We offer a zero-hour contract with holiday pay, full specialist training, ongoing support from a Care

Qualifications

• Female applicants only due to client care needs.

Responsibilities

• Support with all aspects of daily living and personal care.
• Provide specialist clinical support (full training provided).
• Prepare meals and support household routines.
• Support client to engage in outings, hobbies and activities.
• Build a strong, trusting relationship through consistent care.
• Full UK manual driving licence – to drive the client's vehicle.
• Be comfortable around animals.
