Job summary

Active Care Group’s Active Assistance division is seeking a caring Support Worker to help a client in Oswestry. You’ll provide compassionate, 1:1 or 2:1 support in the client’s home, supporting daily activities, personal care and community outings.

The role offers full time and part time options, comprehensive training, and ongoing support from a clinical care team. A willing attitude, reliability, and respectful communication are essential.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training provided.
• Passion for helping others and building trust with clients.
• Reliable, kind and patient with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support for the client in her home.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks.
• Support with mobility, transfers and daily activities.
• Drive the client on community outings using a provided car where needed.
• Maintain dignity, privacy and respect at all times.
