Job summary

The East of England Co-op Funeral Services is seeking a Funeral Arranger to provide a professional service to clients and families, coordinating funeral arrangements and advising on pre-payment plans and related services.

You will liaise with Funeral Directors and external partners to ensure client wishes are fulfilled, while handling essential administration with accuracy and a compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional service to clients, advising on funeral services, pre-payment plans, masonry and ancillary services.
• Coordinate funeral services, liaising with the Funeral Director and third parties to meet the client’s wishes.
• Complete all required administration tasks, including financial and statutory procedures.
• Provide information about after-care services, such as bereavement support groups.
• Ensure branch standards, service and compliance are met.
• Coordinate chapel visits and support local ceremonies.
• Engage with local communities and stakeholders to support local causes.
