Job summary
East of England Co-op Funeral Services in Needham Market is seeking a Funeral Co-ordinator to act as the main contact for clients and families. You will advise on funeral services, pre-payment plans, masonry and related services, coordinating with funeral directors and third parties to fulfil client wishes.
The role emphasises empathy, professionalism, and strong administration skills while engaging with local communities and supporting local projects.
Qualifications

- Previous administration experience.
- IT literacy and competent in common software.
- Ability to organise and prioritise own workload.

Responsibilities
- Provide a professional service to clients, advising on funeral services, pre-payment plans, masonry and ancillary services.
- Coordinate funeral services with Funeral Director and third parties to meet client wishes.
- Complete all administration tasks including financial and statutory procedures.
- Provide information about after-care services and bereavement support.
- Ensure the branch meets high standards of service and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate and support chapel visits and engage with the local community.
