Job summary

OurCoop is seeking a compassionate Funeral Care Assistant to be the first point of contact for families at the scene of bereavement, helping with the care and presentation of the deceased and ensuring dignity throughout the process.

You will join a funeral team, commit to standby/on-call duties, and follow DBS checks; flexible shifts and support for adjustments are offered by the Society.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for families at bereavement scene
• Assist with care and presentation of the deceased to maintain dignity
• Work within funeral team to deliver high standards of service
• Participate in Standby and On-Call rota as required
