Job summary

OurCoop is seeking a compassionate funeral care team member. You will be the first point of contact for families at bereavement scenes, ensuring the preparation and presentation of the deceased is carried out with dignity and respect.

You will work as part of a close funeral team, ready to support on standby and on-call duties. A UK manual driving licence is required, and you must be willing to undergo a DBS check as part of our recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to lift and transfer the deceased person.

Responsibilities

• Care for families at the scene of bereavement and prepare and present the deceased with dignity and respect.
• Be the first point of contact for families and deliver high standards of professional service.
• Participate in Standby and On-Call rota as part of responsibilities.
