OurCoop in the UK funeral team invites compassionate individuals to support families at a difficult time, acting as first point of contact and ensuring respectful care and presentation of the deceased.

This role requires empathy, physical ability to lift and transfer, and a full UK manual driving licence; standby/on-call duties form part of duties, with a supportive team and opportunities to develop within our community-focused cooperative.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide compassionate support to grieving families.
• Physical ability to lift and transfer the deceased with care.
• Hold a full UK Manual driving licence and be prepared for standby/on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Be the families' first point of contact at the scene of bereavement.
• Prepare and present the deceased with dignity and respect.
• Assist with standby and on-call rota as required.
