Job summary

Co-op Funeralcare in Southport is seeking a Funeral Arranger on a part-time basis (£13.47 per hour). The role includes arranging visits, coordinating with families, and maintaining a respectful, safe funeral home environment.

Training is provided, with a friendly team and flexible weekday shifts. You’ll use digital systems for client records and invoices, handle basic cash tasks, and support the care and preparation of the deceased.

Qualifications

• Clear written and verbal communication with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to handle cash, discounts and basic data entry/invoicing.
• Keen eye for detail and accuracy to meet regulatory requirements.
• Competent with a range of devices and software applications.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and the community.
• Support clients in person and over the phone, arranging family visits and answering questions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming funeral home environment and report maintenance issues.
• Use digital systems to manage client documentation, funeral arrangements and invoicing.
