Job summary

Co-op Digital is hiring a Funeral Arranger in Bradford to join our compassionate team. The role is part-time (28 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm) and offers training and ongoing support to help families say goodbye with care.

You will handle client communications, arrange family visits, manage documentation and invoicing using digital systems, and assist with physical aspects of preparing the deceased. No prior funeral experience is required.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with clients and colleagues in writing and verbally.
• Ability to do basic cash handling, discounts, data entry and invoicing.
• Attention to regulatory policies and processes at all times.
• Proficiency with technology devices and systems and willingness to learn new apps.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and the community
• Support clients in person and over the phone, arranging family visits and answering questions
• Keep the funeral home clean, safe and welcoming; report maintenance issues
• Use digital systems to manage client documentation, funeral arrangements and invoicing
• Refer regulated work, such as selling funeral plans, to Funeral Plan Arrangers
• Assist with manual handling of coffins and care of the deceased as needed
• Update client management applications with timely information.
