Job summary

Co-op Digital is hiring a Funeral Arranger in Caernarvon, Gwynedd. The role is part-time (18.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am–4:30pm) with a starting rate of £13.47 per hour plus benefits.

Training is provided, and the job involves direct contact with the deceased as part of normal duties. You will build relationships with clients, assist with funeral arrangements, maintain a professional environment, and use various digital systems to manage records and invoicing.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate with clients and colleagues both in writing and verbally.
• Ability to confidently work with numbers and do basic calculations such as cash handling, discounts, data entry and invoicing.
• Keen eye for detail and accuracy, ensuring regulatory policies are followed.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and the community.
• Support clients in person and over the phone, arranging family visits and answering client questions.
• Keep the funeral home clean, safe and welcoming, reporting maintenance issues as needed.
