Job summary

Southern Housing is seeking caring, patient individuals to provide personalised support to residents across our housing schemes and community. You will work within a supportive team, following individual care plans to promote independence, dignity and inclusion.

This hands-on role requires flexibility, including evenings, weekends, sleep-in duties and on-call shifts; you may be requested to move and handle tasks in a regulated environment while maintaining safeguarding procedures.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including Maths and English.
• Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 2 in Care.
• No previous experience required – full training and support provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care and support across housing schemes, extra care services and within the local community.
• Follow individual care plans to promote independence, dignity, choice and inclusion.
• Work in a CQC regulated environment with safeguarding responsibilities and reporting concerns.
• Be flexible to work evenings, weekends, sleep-in duties and on-call rotas; handle moving and handling tasks.
