Job summary

Positive Futures is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help people with learning disabilities, brain injury or autism live independently with real choice and control. No formal qualifications required; you will be trained and supported, including NISCC registration, as part of a caring team.

Daily duties include supporting home management, finances and personal care, while encouraging community participation and rights-based decision making. A rota-based role with flexible shifts is offered.

Qualifications

• Personal or work experience of providing care or support for someone.
• Basic digital skills to record notes and use rota or care systems.
• Full, valid UK driving licence to meet driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Form positive relationships with the person you support while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Help with home management, money, medication and arranging care from other services.
• Support safe, healthy living and enable community engagement and advocacy where needed.
• Record keeping and using digital systems for incidents and logs.
