Job summary

National Care Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs live as independently as possible in their own homes and within the community.

You will build positive relationships, assist with daily tasks, personal care and medications, plan days out, and support individuals to reach personal goals, with shifts including earlies, lates and weekends.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required to meet role requirements.
• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs is advantageous.
• Duties include assisting with personal care, daily tasks and community activities.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with people and plan goals together.
• Help plan daily tasks and assist with cooking, cleaning and running errands.
• Assist with personal care and medications.
• Plan and participate in meaningful days out and community activities.
• Support individuals to become more independent where possible.
