Job summary

Real Life Options is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist adults with learning and physical disabilities in Portlethen and surrounding areas. You will support daily activities, enable independence, and participate in community outings and leisure activities.

The role involves shifts across early mornings, daytimes, evenings, weekends, and some nights. A caring, proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support individuals within their own homes and in the community.
• Help with day-to-day activities and social participation.
• Assist with shopping, meal prep and housekeeping.
• Support appointments and travel to visit family and friends.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene routines.
• Assist with moving and handling where needed.
• Encourage budgeting and money management.
• Accompany clients on community outings and activities.
