Job summary

Positive Futures is looking for a dedicated Support Worker in Northern Ireland. You will help people with learning disabilities, brain injury or autism live independently, supporting daily living skills, personal care and community engagement.

No formal qualifications are required; kindness, patience and reliability are essential. You’ll be trained with a full induction and will learn to record notes, manage routines, and work with other services while upholding people’s rights to choice and

Qualifications

• Personal or work experience of providing care or support for someone
• Basic digital skills e.g. to record notes and use rota, HR or care systems

Responsibilities

• Form positive relationships with the person supported and their family, while maintaining professional boundaries
• Help with home tasks, money and medication management as independently as possible, and coordinate with other services when needed
• Support independence, encourage community involvement, advocacy, and accurate record keeping
