Job summary

Cornerstone Community Care in Aberdeen is seeking caring, enthusiastic people to join our team as support workers in a shared home setting. You’ll help individuals live life their way, supporting daily tasks, activities and personal care.

We offer part-time or full-time roles (25 or 39 hours per week), with a sleepover shift paid at £107.60 per sleepover. Successful applicants will complete SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with our Training Academy and must register with the SSSC within 3

Qualifications

• Caring, patient and compassionate.
• Positive, reliable and keen to learn.
• Good communicators who enjoy working as part of a team.
• Organised and confident using basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Support three individuals with physical and/or learning disabilities in their own home.
• Provide person-centred support with daily living tasks and personal care.
• Assist with activities they enjoy (choir, bowling, arts and crafts, music).
• Encourage independence and new experiences.
• Take part in community activities and day trips.
