Overview

Scottish Ballet is seeking a Company Manager, an astute forward planner with an eye for detail, and robust problem-solving ability to support us on stage and beyond.

Role

The vacancy is for a Company Manager supporting the Scottish Ballet touring company.

Responsibilities

• Support the Scottish Ballet touring company on stage and beyond, delivering planning and problem-solving to ensure smooth productions and company operations.

Qualifications and attributes

• Strong interpersonal skills, diplomacy and the ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, a willingness to contribute new ideas and to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Flexibility of personal commitments to cope with travel, touring and attending performances and other events including evenings and weekends.
• An affinity with Scottish Ballet’s culture and values and enthusiasm for the arts.

Contract details

• Salary is £35,000 to £38,000 per annum.
• The role is full-time, 35 hours per week (non-touring weeks – adjusted for touring weeks).
• Working hours will be flexible, with evening and weekend work applicable to touring schedules and business requirements.
• The role is based at our Glasgow HQ (non-touring weeks) and includes extensive travel.
