This is a really exciting time to join a leading East Lancashire manufacturing organisation, which due to ongoing growth is looking to recruit a Company Accountant.

Partnering with the Managing Director, this role is responsible for the preparation and reporting of full management accounts, including cash flow, balance sheet, and P&L, as well as supporting variance analyses.

The company aims to further develop its budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business decisions, leveraging analysis to drive strategic outcomes.

Balancing reporting and analytical responsibilities, the successful candidate must have a strong understanding of reporting standards and possess a naturally inquisitive, analytical mind capable of data analysis and manipulation.

The ideal candidate will be a strong influencer and communicator. During this growth phase, the Company Accountant is expected to challenge department managers to identify cost-saving opportunities, review departmental activities and associated costs, and analyze pricing and external contract costs.
