Affinity Learning Partnership seeks a Community Duty Officer to manage lettings and facility readiness across venues, ensuring welcoming service and safe, well-presented spaces for community use.

You will be the face of the lettings service, opening and securing venues, supporting customers on site and responding to issues as they arise. This role emphasizes safety, cleanliness and professional service.

Responsibilities

• Opening and securing Trust buildings for community activities, including daytime, evening and weekend lettings.
• Providing a friendly, welcoming and professional service to all lettings customers.
• Taking responsibility for the venue during lettings hours and ensuring customers have a positive experience.
• Providing on-site security and supervising the buildings and grounds to help prevent damage or misuse.
• Preparing facilities, equipment and furniture for bookings and assisting with clearing away afterwards.
• Helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across areas used by the community.
• Supporting health and safety requirements and ensuring users follow our Conditions of Hire.
• Responding appropriately and confidently in the event of an emergency.
• Undertaking general cleaning and maintenance tasks relating to community use where required.
