Job summary

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a therapy support role within a multidisciplinary team to assist therapists in delivering high-quality interventions and patient education.

The role requires a UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work, with strong communication skills to support home exercise programmes and stock control. Training and supervision are provided with NHS CPD opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out specified assessments, interventions and programmes under supervision.
• Report patient progress during planned interventions and programmes.
• Work with individuals or groups in settings appropriate to the patients' needs.
• Respect patient diversity and provide culturally sensitive care.
• Ensure patient safety and dignity at all times, using appropriate methods for challenging behaviours.
• Record and submit clinical activity data accurately and timely.
• Maintain, clean, monitor and loan equipment and keep accurate records.
• Order and stock control of materials and equipment as required.
• Support administrative and housekeeping duties as required.
• Be an active member of a weekend rota or 7‑day service if needed.
