Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Crewe is seeking an enthusiastic therapy assistant to work with children and young people aged 0-19. You will collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists and other therapy staff to assess needs and help implement care plans in community and hospital settings.

You will gain hands-on skills in paediatric equipment, hydrotherapy and MDT liaison, while supporting case management and data entry in EMIS Web. A compassionate team awaits.

Qualifikationen

• Experience of working with children / young people.
• NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
• Evidence of dealing directly with the public.
• Experience of working in the NHS.
• Previous experience of working as a therapy assistant / therapist.
• Knowledge of SEND.
• Experience of working in a school environment.

Aufgaben

• Work with qualified therapists and therapy assistants to assess and implement care plans for children aged 0-19.
• Complete care plans under clinician direction and liaise with MDT.
• Assist in hydrotherapy, use paediatric equipment and manage stock.
• Enter data in EMIS Web and handle calls into the department.
