An exciting opportunity has arisen for a health care support worker to join the North East Fife locality District Nursing Team (Ladybank/Newburgh base).
Key Requirements:
The role involves delivering nursing care within patients' homes and care homes, focusing on preventing unnecessary hospital admissions, supporting early discharge, and promoting patient independence. You will support the District Nursing Team in providing evidence-based treatment and care to housebound patients.
It is desirable to have relevant knowledge and experience, and an SVQ qualification is preferred. The service offers supervision and training opportunities.
You must be willing and able to travel across the Fife division and provide evening, weekend, and public holiday cover as required. The role operates within a 24/7 community nursing service.
