Health Care Support Worker - North East Fife District Nursing Team

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a health care support worker to join the North East Fife locality District Nursing Team (Ladybank/Newburgh base).

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the District Nursing Team in delivering evidence-based treatment and care to housebound patients and care homes.
• Assist in preventing unnecessary hospital admissions, supporting early discharges, and enabling patients to remain independent at home.
• Work within a 24/7 community nursing service, including weekends and public holidays.

Requirements:

• Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with a genuine interest in community healthcare.
• Previous community experience and phlebotomy skills are advantageous.
• Knowledge and experience supporting this role; SVQ qualification desirable.
• Ability to travel across the Fife division and provide evening cover as needed.
