Join our dynamic and friendly team as a Dietetic Support Worker within the Diabetes & Weight Management team. This role is ideal for individuals interested in nutrition, weight management, and type 2 diabetes. You will have the opportunity to develop skills in supporting individuals with diet and behaviour changes. Excellent communication and administrative skills are essential.
This service provides a range of dietetic care to children and adults across Fife, in both community and hospital settings. The service is organized into clinical teams including Acute, Diabetes & Weight Management, Mental Health & Learning Disabilities, Nutritional Support, Older People, and Infant Nutrition & Paediatrics. We also have specialist dietitians in health promotion and food & health teams. Our service includes non-prescribing dietitians operating under a non-medical prescribing model.
We support undergraduate and graduate dietetic students through B & C programmes, involving staff in delivery and organization. New graduates will participate in rotation programmes across various teams, fostering ongoing professional development. The service offers regular training sessions, and we have strong administrative, IT, social media, and online resources to support staff growth.
