Opportunity for Health Care Support Worker - North East Fife

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a health care support worker to join the North East Fife locality District Nursing Team, based in Ladybank/Newburgh.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with a genuine interest in community care.
• Previous community experience is advantageous.
• Phlebotomy skills are desirable.

The team focuses on preventing unnecessary hospital admissions, supporting early discharges, and helping patients remain independent at home. You will support the delivery of evidence-based treatment and care to housebound patients within the practice population.

Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience relevant to the role.
• SVQ qualification is desirable.
• Ability to travel across the Fife division and provide evening cover as needed.
• Willingness to work within a 24/7 community nursing service, including weekends and public holidays.
