An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Support Worker to work within the Falkirk District Nursing team. You will be part of a Multidisciplinary Team, providing routine care for patients under the supervision of District Nurses or Registered Nurses. Excellent communication skills, including effective written communication and a good working knowledge of IT systems, are essential.
The role involves clinical skills such as venipuncture, medication administration, catheter care, and other clinical investigations following relevant training. You will also provide care for palliative and end-of-life patients in their homes.
You will support other MDT members, including staff nurses and student nurses, and carry out duties to meet patients' needs, ensuring appropriate care.
The role requires the ability to work independently, refer appropriately to Registered Professionals, and travel throughout the area to provide patient care. Lone working is a part of this role. This post is permanent.
