Job summary

Joseph Rowntree Foundation and Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust seek a Community and Partnerships Manager for Hartrigg Oaks Retirement Village in York to co-create services with residents, staff and external partners.

You will lead with a collaborative approach, oversee budgets, ensure health and safety compliance, and drive improvements in wellbeing, independence, and community life across locations.

A CIH Level 4 qualification or commitment to achieve it is preferred.

Qualifications

• CIH Level 4 qualification or willingness to work towards it.
• Inclusive and collaborative leadership across departments and locations.
• Experience in community engagement and partnership working.
• Experience managing contractor relationships and complex budgets.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations; proficient in Microsoft Office and social media.

Responsibilities

• Co-create services at Hartrigg Oaks Retirement Village with residents, staff and external partners.
• Collaborate across departments and locations to design and shape services that enhance wellbeing and community life.
• Oversee budgets and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
