Job summary

Joseph Rowntree Foundation and Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust are seeking a General Assistant to provide high standards of cleaning and hygiene at Hartrigg Oaks Bungalows, New Earswick, York. This permanent, 10 hours-per-week role supports residents by keeping homes clean and safe.

You will need good communication, a friendly, reliable persona and the ability to work well in a small team. An Enhanced DBS check is required; we do not currently offer Tier 2 sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the service.
• Provide residents with a high standard cleaning service in their own homes.
• Work on a rota basis across 5 days a week, subject to residents' needs and working time regulations.
