Job summary

Yorkshire Housing is seeking a Customer Engagement and Wellbeing Team Leader to shape how customers influence services and communities across West Yorkshire. You’ll lead a high-performing team, drive inclusive engagement, and ensure customer voice informs decisions and service design.

In this leadership role you’ll develop peers, tackle digital exclusion and wellbeing challenges, and work across Housing and Communities to deliver meaningful social value.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer engagement, community development, wellbeing, housing, or public sector.
• Ability to inspire, lead and develop others.
• Strong commitment to inclusive, accessible experiences.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing a team of Customer Engagement colleagues, delivering outcomes for customers and communities.
• Ensuring Foundations for Engagement helps customers overcome barriers like digital exclusion, isolation, and confidence challenges.
• Using customer insight, feedback and data to spot opportunities and influence decision-making across Yorkshire Housing.
• Supporting customers to have a meaningful say through panels, consultations, co-design activities, surveys and events.
• Leading place-based projects that strengthen communities, improve wellbeing and create social value.
• Collaborating across Housing, Communities, Tenancy Sustainment and Services to embed customer voice in operations.
• Sharing success stories, measuring impact and demonstrating the difference engagement makes.
