Job summary

The Joseph Rowntree Foundation is seeking a passionate Resident Involvement Officer to join the Resident Experience team. You will engage residents, develop campaigns and run consultations to influence services.

This role includes facilitating groups, gathering feedback, and reporting on impact across JRHT’s housing sites. You will build strong relationships with residents and stakeholders, monitor engagement metrics and help shape the engagement strategy, ensuring residents see how their input

Qualifications

• Proven resident engagement experience within housing or a similar sector.
• Experience supporting residents to scrutinise and improve services.
• Experience establishing, developing and facilitating resident groups and consultation activities.
• Experience creating effective communication and feedback mechanisms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, building relationships with stakeholders.
• Ability to gather, analyse and present data and produce clear reports.
• Detailed understanding of the regulatory framework.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver resident engagement activities, campaigns and consultation opportunities.
• Support and facilitate resident groups, focus groups, scrutiny panels and community events.
• Develop and implement the Resident Engagement Strategy and monitor performance.
• Analyse feedback and demonstrate impact through a "you said, we did" approach.
• Travel across JRHT housing sites to engage with residents and partners.
