Job summary

Northumberland County Council is seeking a part-time cafe/bar assistant to deliver friendly service in our hub environment. You will handle food and drink service, basic drinks preparation, and support bookings while keeping the space welcoming and tidy for all users.

Flexibility with shifts, good numeracy and literacy, and a basic understanding of health and safety are important. The role includes cash handling and customer care in a community hub setting.

Qualifications

• A good general education, numeracy, and literacy skills.
• Awareness of health and safety practices.
• Basic food hygiene knowledge (desirable).
• Bar and hospitality experience, including handling food and drinks (desirable).
