Job summary

Gentoo Group Limited in Sunderland is seeking a Neighbourhood Coordinator to support communities by managing tenancies and delivering neighbourhood services. You will travel across your patch, build relationships with customers and partners, and promote sustainable, safe, and thriving communities.

A full UK driving licence and basic DBS check are required. The role is 12 months fixed-term with travel across the City of Sunderland and flexible, hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Understanding of housing management regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Strong relationship-building with customers and partners.
• Willingness to travel across locations and work from multiple offices.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office and business systems.

Responsibilities

• Allocate homes fairly and transparently to meet needs.
• Manage a designated neighbourhood and promote sustainable communities.
• Deliver tenancy and estate management, including anti-social behaviour casework.
• Support customers to sustain tenancies and manage rent payments.
• Build relationships with customers, community groups and partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to resolve issues.
• Encourage customer feedback and contribute to service improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and organisational requirements.
