Job summary

Abri is recruiting a Housing Officer to manage anti-social behaviour, tenancy issues and safeguarding across communities. You will work closely with local authorities, health professionals and support providers to deliver effective neighbourhood services and improve resident outcomes.

The role emphasises safeguarding, tenancy enforcement and high-quality case management, with a focus on vulnerable residents and multi-agency collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing management or ASB casework.
• Experience supporting vulnerable residents.
• Ability to work with external agencies and partner organisations.
• Capable of handling challenging situations with professionalism.
• Maintaining accurate case records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of ASB and tenancy breach cases from report to resolution.
• Investigate complaints, gather evidence and interview residents and witnesses.
• Prepare warning letters and action plans; support legal action where necessary.
• Work with Police and partner agencies to improve safety and outcomes.
• Conduct safeguarding where relevant and support residents to sustain tenancies.
