Job summary

North Northamptonshire Council is seeking a friendly Community Site Assistant to support the day-to-day operation of our community facilities across North Northamptonshire. You will help keep pavilions, community centres and parks safe, clean and welcoming, while delivering excellent customer service to residents, visitors and hirers.

This part-time role (25 hours) requires weekend work and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at Grade 4 or equivalent.
• Experience in property & facilities industry.
• Experience working with the general public.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to visitors, hirers and community groups.
• Open, close and secure community buildings as designated key holder.
• Prepare rooms and equipment for bookings and events.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across facilities.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and ensure safety checks.
